APPLIED, ARRIVED and THRIVED with It’s Not Just Dinner (INJD) is a curated content partnership with MBE Magazine, sponsored by SPS and Trans International. Twice a year, INJD scholarships up to four WBEs to attend either the NMSDC or WBENC National Conferences and Trade shows. The INJD scholarship has two parts: financial (a $1500.00 stipend) and non-financial. The non-financial benefits include mentorship, education, professional development, inclusion in events and trade show floor walks, and above all else, an instant community to lean into and learn to leverage certification with.
INJD empowers business leaders to leverage certification strategically, opening the doors to positive business outcomes. Thanks to MBE Magazine (a WBENC and NMSDC certified business), every eligible applicant that applies for an INJD First Time Attendance National Conference Scholarship over the next two years will be recognized after each national conference, and each INJD scholarship awardees will be featured front and center through the Winter MBE Mag Issue through 2026.
INJD’s goal is simple yet bold: to increase the number of applicants for INJD scholarships. More applicants means more funding which leads to more support—financial and non-financial—for women owned businesses. This supports productivity at the national trade show and conferencing level, which benefits everyone across the supply chain. It’s Not Just Dinner in leveling up what it means to APPLY, ARRIVE and THRIVE during these events.
