City Kitch Food Truck Rally

Gaby M. Rojas

In partnership with Yelp NC Triad, the City Kitch Greensboro will hold a delicious gathering of food trucks and small businesses serving up tasty plates on April 6, 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at 601 Milner Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina.

According to Erin Lee, special projects & marketing manager at the City Kitch, participating businesses include Taco Bros, Crav’n Caribbean, ZeeYum Kitchen, Smokiin Mac, and more.

The City Kitch is commercial kitchen community that provides private and shared facilities for all food businesses throughout North Carolina. The City Kitch currently has facilities in Greensboro and the University and West End areas of Charlotte.

Chef Carrie Hegnauer, former senior culinary instructor at Johnson & Wales, founded The City Kitch to fulfill a need for this type of facility for her own food business. Hegnauer soon relished using the facility to help other food entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses. As a result, the facility provides business support for mobile food services, such as food trucks, caterers, and bakers. The City Kitch has grown from just commercial kitchen facility to a collaborative and supportive diverse community for their clients. The facility offers flexible kitchen spaces and resources to help food businesses take their concepts to the next level.

“As a minority-owned business, we’re proud to showcase the vibrant diversity of flavors and cultures at our food truck rally. At City Kitch, we see the power of diverse entrepreneurship and its ability to change lives. I hope that the food truck rally brings more attention to the amazing work our members are doing,” says Lee.
