New DBE and ACDBE Regulations Make It Easier to Qualify for DBE Certification

New regulations which went into effect on May 9, 2024, will open opportunities for additional minority and/or women-owned and controlled small businesses to take advantage of the DBE and ACDBE programs.

There’s exciting news for companies working on federally assisted contracts for highway, transit and/or aviation projects. The United States Department of Transportation issued a new Final Rule that goes into effect on May 9, 2024, modernizing and streamlining the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and the Airport Concessions DBE (ACDBE) program regulations.
