Cast Your Vote for Your Favorite Small Business in Barclays’ Annual Small Business, Big Wins Promotion

Every vote counts in Barclays US Consumer Bank’s “Small Business Big Wins” contest. This year, over 4,500 small businesses shared accounts and challenges of building a business in the current economy. Now, 10 finalists have been selected for you to vote on!

You are Invited to Cast Your Vote

From April 8 at 9:00 am Eastern Time (ET) through 5:00 pm ET on April 19, visit BarclaysSmallBizBigWins.com to review the stories of the top 10 finalists and vote for your favorite small business you think should win the grand prize of $60,000.

The top 10 businesses are from a variety of industries spanning food services, law, retail and more and include:

  • Diversability LLC, a business focused on helping disabled people located in New York, NY
  • Mural City Cellars, first female and Lantix owned urban winery located in Philadelphia, PA
  • Tempura Takeover, an Asian-fusion food truck specializes in Korean and Japanese inspired street food located in Gilbert, AZ
  • Fort Worth Fit Body Boot Camp, a superhero factory disguised as a small group personal training facility in Benbrook, TX
  • Brewability Lab, LLC, a unique restaurant specifically created to help individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) obtain meaningful employment located in Englewood, CO
  • The Rush Espresso, a drive through espresso in Sidney, MT. 
  • The Cloud Law Firm PLLC, a law firm supporting and empowering small business owners located in Brooklyn, NY
  • Bold Spoon Creamery, a small-batch, premium ice cream producer located in Park Hills, MO.
  • Aille Design, works with the blind and visually impaired community to create fashion-forward clothing and accessories that feature fully legible braille in the form of beadwork located in Buffalo, NY
  • Clarity Counseling Consultation and Wellness, LLC, a mental health counseling services practice located in El Paso, TX

About Small Business, Big Wins

The contest is sponsored by Barclays’ Business Card team, which supports business owners of all sizes with its broad range of cards that offer business owners rewards for dollars spent on their business needs.

The total prize breakdown for the contest includes:

  • One Grand Prize of $60,000
  • One 2nd Place Prize of $40,000
  • One 3rd Place Prize of $20,000
  • Seven Runner-Up Prizes of $5,000 each

The announcement of contest winners for the top 10 will take place during the week of May 1 to coincide with National Small Business Week. In addition to the top-10 prize fund, all businesses outside of the top 10 that submitted qualifying entries were entered in a random drawing to win one of 50 $2,000 sweepstakes prizes.

2023 Contest Winners & Results

Last year, more than 14,000 small business owners answered the call to submit their stories. Barclays awarded Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen, a family-owned Korean quick service restaurant serving Troy, New York and the Albany area the $60,000 grand prize. The Troy, New York-based restaurant is driven by a passion for food and community and provides authentic Korean food for dine-in, take-out and catering at its local market. Additionally, Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen employs immigrant Americans from all over the world and offers free virtual English classes for adults.

In addition, Barclays awarded $40,000 to Dixon’s Cooperative Market of Dixon, New Mexico for second place; $20,000 to Beautiful Curly Me of Atlanta, Georgia, for third place; and $5,000 to each of the remaining top 10 finalists. Barclays also awarded 50 participants $2,000 each through a random drawing, totaling $255,000 in support of 60 small businesses across the country.
