Three-day experience will connect culture and capital through leadership honors, networking, social impact, faith, and community celebration for Black Business Month.
Black Entrepreneurs Week (BEW), the culture-driven platform advancing entrepreneurship, ownership and economic mobility, will launch BEW-ATL Weekend from August 28-30, 2026. Building on five years of momentum and measurable impact in Houston, the inaugural Atlanta weekend will convene entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, creatives, civic leaders and community partners across the city.
Presented by the Equiliberty Community Impact Foundation (ECIF), BEW Weekend ATL is designed to celebrate Black excellence while creating practical pathways to capital, education, collaboration and long-term wealth building. Programming will span Atlanta, with experiences centered on leadership, relationship building, service, faith, and community.

BEW Weekend ATL will deepen connections across Southern business communities, increase visibility for Black-owned businesses, create pathways to capital and partnerships, and expand collaboration among entrepreneurs, corporations, nonprofits and community leaders.
Councilman Michael Julian Bond and Councilwoman Andrea Boone are serving as official community partners for BEW Weekend ATL. A centerpiece of the opening-day celebration will be the BEW-ATL Cornerstone Awards, hosted at Atlanta City Hall. Built around the values of excellence, leadership, and legacy, the awards will honor Black men whose achievements in business, public service, entrepreneurship, and community leadership are helping shape Atlanta and create opportunities for future generations. The ceremony will also celebrate the launch of BEW-ATL during Black Business Month. The official honoree list and additional activation details will be announced soon.
From Houston Momentum to Southern Expansion
The Atlanta launch builds on the success of the 5th Annual Black Entrepreneurs Week in Houston, an eight-day series dedicated to recognizing and uplifting Black-owned businesses and creating opportunities for entrepreneurship, innovation and wealth building. Houston programming reached thousands of in-person participants and included hybrid experiences, founder pitch competitions, business showcases, financial literacy, technology, artificial intelligence and wellness programming, a vendor marketplace, and corporate and community partnership activations.
